We're once again closing in on the PS5, PS4 release of Evil West after its delay out of September and into November, so developer Flying Wild Hog has returned to remind us what the shooter's all about. We likened it to God of War with guns following a previous trailer, and it still looks that way after viewing one more slice of footage designed as an overview of the title.
The overview trailer sets up the story before diving into combat, abilities, and weaponry. They have all got upgrades to unlock too, of course. With a PS5, PS4 release of 22nd November 2022 set, the wait for this western meets vampiric shooter is almost over. Are you looking forward to it? Let us know in the comments below.

Anything in a weird west setting works for me. I like the look of this.
I'm looking forward to this as it reminds me of the old days and games such as Gears of War. Everything seems to be open world these days so it'll be nice to play something more streamlined
It continues to look great every time I see it in action. Very excited to see how it turns out! Focus Entertainment is quickly becoming one of my favorite publishers of late. Plague Tale Requiem was excellent and if this delivers as well it will have been a pretty great 2022 for them.
This looks like the sleeper hit of the year. It's launching in a packed end of year, but I have a feeling it'll find itself a rabid fanbase for those that snag it.
This looks great and I'm definitely up for some of this, if GOW lets me!
This game evil west is looking good everytime its shown.cant wait.word up son
Damn this looks good. Didn’t realise it was coming out so soon!
Yea this game looks like a sleeper banger.
I'm sure they realised the gameplay is similar to GOW but did they have to make the skill tree menu also similar or am I missing something?
Looks amazing, actually an action adventure that harks back to the the best of the genre. No open world crap!!
I just wish this didnt come out during such a jampacked time of a jampacked year. This game looks like it deserves to become a franchise
Definitely on my radar but will wait for reviews
I laughed at its reveal but they’re sellin it now

To be fair in this day and age you can just pull up any music you want in the background for any game or even a podcast. Most games even mute the music of the game when you do this. Helps get me through the slower moments of games.
God Of War meets Gears Of War, plain and simple.
Don't go in expecting a masterpiece, this is a 6,5 - 7,5 score game, and I'm glad to see it doesn't try to sell itself as more than that.
It may be story driven, but it's main feature will be combat and the tools to do it
Once you process and accept that, and disappointment stops getting in the way of having a good time, you'll relax and have a blast with it.
Frankly, it's just what I need after God Of War Ragnarok's serious epic drama : some unwinding good fun to lighten up the mood, before I get into Callysto Protocol's horrific world.
@Gloamin i agree. I normally dont preorder many games but the gameplay won me over. I cant wait for this game.
Will this games, and other coming out towards the end of the year, go on sale over Christmas on the PS Store?
Evil West continues to look great! Depending on how busy I am around the time of it's release, I may still pick it up.
